The Site
Welcome to App-Score, found at either App-Score.com or App-Score.co.uk. We are an app review site with a twist, all of our reviews are scorecards, this is the first thing that the user sees when they launch the site. You can hover over them (or tap on title on a mobile browser) to view their good and bad points, the price, platform and developer. Users can then see a full review if they wish but most people prefer to get the information fast and in bullet form with a rating out of 10. The rating system varies from terrible to excellent with no flaws. We to cover almost every platform including iPad, iPhone, Mac, Windows Phone with future plans for Windows, when the store launches.
We recently launched our magazine ‘lowdown’, this is a cut down version of the site in a great looking visual style that can be downloaded for offline viewing. This is the perfect way to see some of the best most interesting reviews from the month as well as some exclusive content not available on the site.

Our Reviews Policy
We review apps in a fair way based on the reviewers opinions. Apps are reviewed in the state they arrive from the App Store (without in app purchases), in app purchases will often be seen as a negative. The score given is final and can reflect other factors, we pride ourself in keeping the reviews short so you don’t read a full essay. Scores between categories should not be compared for example a game with a Facebook app. Generally the score system is 1/2 – Terrible, 3/4 – Bad, 5/6- Good with some issues, 7/8 – Great with issues, 9/10 – Excellent with little to no issues. We welcome different opinions through conversation on our Twitter page, comments have been turned off so we can have a more direct relationship with readers. We do not change scores based on others opinions unless the reviewer has missed a vital point in the review. We generally review using the latest devices i.e. iPhone 4, 4S, iPad 2 so crashes on other generations won’t be reported. Apps in HD and iPhone versions will be reviewed under the same name as 99% of the time there is very little difference especially with games.
