My Secret Folder is an application designed to keep personal pictures away from the people whom you may not want to see them. The app comes disguised as a category folder on your home screen and has a lock screen for people to access the app. You will also be able to see when people tried to get into the app unsuccessfully.

Positives

The app appears to be exactly what it says, that is to keep photo’s away from other people. I tried putting photos into the app using the photo album then deleted it from my photo album so the image was only viewable in the app. I then gave the device to a friend who could not get into the app. I could then see when they attempted to get in. So yes it’s good at what it does. It’s also good that it is disguised as a category so people don’t notice it.

Negatives

Being disguised as a category isn’t the best as it means you might not always be able to find the application. Depending on the amount of categories it could be almost invisible. Also the lock screen is ugly and there needs to be other ways of importing images.

Final Verdict

If you are looking to keep images away from the nosey people in your life then look no further than this app for a almost perfect job well done. It does what it says it does and I guess that’s all it needs to do.
